The objective of the National Guild is to promote the highest possible standard of living in the farmhouse and focus attention on the positive aspects of farm life. Through the years, many projects have been carried out to further these aims.
The National Guild places emphasis on better international understanding. A special project of furnishing hospitality to international visitors is carried on, cooperating with out State Department in Washington D. C.. Many exchange leasers and students from other countries have been entertained in homes of members. A number of other projects along this line are promoted through the State Guilds. The Guild believes that mutual understanding contributes greatly toward world peace. |
